#Ayurveda describes sleep as the "diet of the mind". Our bodies metabolize waste products mostly after 10:00pm and the immune system needs to revitalize itself between 11:00 pm and 2:00am, so it's critical to be asleep during these hours. Here are a few tips for a restful sleep:* Be in bed by 10pm* No electronics in the bedroom* Avoid caffeine late in the day* Try some deep breathing exercises before bed* Take a warm bath* Cooler bedrooms make for a better nights sleep Contact Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC if you have difficulties falling asleep, wake during the night or sleep so heavy that it's hard to wake up - as these are all signs of an imbalance. During a private consultation we can determine where the imbalance lies.info@ayurvedawellnesshealing.comor978-395-1234"Blockage is disease/Flow is health"✨ ... See MoreSee Less

Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC loves the following spring soup recipe, so yummy and it's good for your digestion too!Curried Apple and Celery Soup RecipeIngredients(4 servings)2 Stalks Celery, roughly chopped2 Green Apples, peeled and roughly chopped1/2 cup Milk1/2-cup Vegetable stock, or water1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon PowderSalt and Pepper, to tasteTo begin making the Apple Celery Soup, melt the butter in a saucepan. Add in the chopped celery root and the apples.Sprinkle some salt and sauté until the celery and the apple turn a little soft. Keep the saucepan partially covered so the steam that gets generated helps them to cook faster.Stir in the remaining ingredients and add it to the blender. If you don't have a blender that can't take in heat, then wait for the mixture to cool before you can blend it.Blend the apple celery soup mixture in the blender until smooth. Pour the soup back into the saucepan and check for the salt and pepper levels. Adjust to suit your taste. When you are ready to serve the soup, give the soup a quick boil Enjoy! ... See MoreSee Less

Today we celebrate the Spring Equinox...it's a representation of new life and light, new beginnings, path, and seeds. As the day and the night will be equal today, this equinox will also be the representation of our needs for balance during this period. It is a time of new beginnings, renewal, and growth. As the weather is warming (or at least it should be) and as the earth and our bodies begin to thaw let the colors you wear help this along.Spring is Kapha season and the colors of orange, purple, red, pink, blues and greens should be your colors of choice through the lens of Ayurveda.Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC loves green and red as displayed in our logo ✨"Blockage is disease/Flow is health" 🙂info@ayurvedawellnesshealing.com ... Oh how we love garlic and it's importance as an medicinal herb. It is antibacterial, anti fungal and antiviral. It is seen as a preventive measure for colds and flu and will offer natural support to the immune system. Through the lens of Ayurveda, garlic kindles agni (digestive fires), destroys natural toxins, supports the lungs and clears excess kapha. (Spring is Kapha season)Share in the comments below how you use garlic in your diet."Blockage is disease/Flow is health" 😀Info@ayurvedawellnesshealing.com www.ayurvedawellnesshealing.com ...
