New Moon Yoga Nidra Via Zoom

Please join us for a powerful session of deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra  (Yoga deep sleep) led by master teacher, Wyndee Egan.

This class will incorporate meditation, breath work, and supportive healing yoga poses. We will combine the energy of the coming new moon and celebrate the New Moon to set our intention for the month ahead while deeply relaxing the body to ground these intentions and heal the body and mind.

Ayurveda Wellness Healing would like to make this session a donation class this month and would like to have us give back to those in need that have been having a difficult time through this period. In our retreat travels to the Southwest, we have been so touched by the struggles that the Native American’s have been having through Covid-19. We would like to dedicate and donate all the proceeds to Adopt-a-Native-Elder. This is a wonderful organization that was established in the 1980’s during the turbulent years of the Hopi-Navajo land dispute which ultimately resulted in 10,000 Navajos being relocated from their traditional homelands. During those times there were many Elders facing severe hardships and deprivations. The Elder’s need for food was a great concern. The Program supports the traditional Elders who live in the cultural and spiritual traditions of The Dine’ People.  Most live in remote portions of the Dine’ (Navajo) reservation.  Many live in traditional hogans, and some raise sheep as a means of maintaining themselves. As you can imagine, this community has now become greatly threatened by Covid-19. Adpot a native elder has:

  • Directly delivering over 5 million pounds of food
  • Serving more than 640 Elders
  • Honoring more than 5,000 supporters worldwide
