Restorative Yoga with Acupuncture

Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC and Acupuncture Family Care Greta Williams Lic Acu are excited to announce a healing experience like no other.

The practices of acupuncture and restorative yoga are a fusion of the best healing gifts from two ancient Asian cultures. These modalities free up stagnant energies within the physical, emotional, and mental bodies. This process presents an opportunity to let go of the old and welcome the new. Studies have shown that healing is most effective when done in a nurturing group setting. In this workshop students will hold supported yogic postures for an extended period of time while receiving a an acupuncture treatment

The practices of acupuncture and yoga amplify each other’s benefits. This workshop is open to yogis of all levels and ages.

No yoga experience in necessary.

GRETA WILLIAMS is a Licensed Acupuncturist whose passion is supporting the family through life and promoting health and wellness for each individual. Greta is the owner of Acupuncture Family Care, Greta Williams Lic Acu on the North Shore.

WYNDEE EGAN is a RYT 200 hr. from Yoga Spirit and is a certified Restorative Yoga trainer with Judith Lassater – Relax and Renew Yoga and teaches Yoga and Meditation in the north shore area. She also is co-owner of Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC and does Ayurvedic Wellness Counseling and Yoga therapy

Summer Colors

Cooling colors for summer…

Summer is the season of fire, and there is an increased tendency for arguments, yelling, and getting angry. It is better not to discuss any serious topics during the hot hours of the day, or during very hot days. If you need to make important decisions, do it in the morning or evening when it’s cool.

Dress in cotton (or silk) clothes, and as much as possible avoid colors like red, orange, yellow, and black. Gentle and mild colors help one to stay cool, especially blue, white, green, and purple. After dressing, you can do your worship or meditation practice if it is part of your routine.

Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing

Please join Us for a powerful session of restorative Yoga combined with the deep relaxation of Yoga Nidra with Sound Healing (Yoga deep sleep) led by master teacher, Wyndee Egan.

This class will incorporate meditation, breath work, sound healing and supportive healing yoga poses. We will combine the energy of the coming new moon to set our intention for the month ahead while deeply relaxing the body to ground these intentions and heal the body and mind.
